Bhaskar or CB-ONN-2003/1 is a producing field of Sun Petro with 100% participating interest, located 60 km towards west from Anand District, Gujarat in Tarapur tectonic block of Cambay basin. The total field area is around 71.33 sq. km. The Producing zone is Miocene basal sand (MBS). SunPetro acquired the field from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) & BP Exploration Alpha Ltd (BPEAL) in the year 2018. SunPetro started the production started from the field in July, 2019. SunPetro has drilled and completed ten new development wells as per approved IFDP and put all of them on production.
